This survey study was aimed to make an information about the actual condition of drug intoxication(in a broad sense, acute poisoning) patient in Won Kwang University hospital emergency room. This hospital belonged to Ho-Nam field area including Iri, Gunsan industrial city and near farm land. Data is chart profile of drug intoxication patient that was screened in total emergency patients during the period from Jan., 1986 to Jul., 1987. On motive analysis, there were almost suicidal attempts(84.2％) and were accident, at work poisoning. On sex analysis, males occupied 56％, and females 44％ of total cases showing more the tendency of male to female. Regarding poisoning substances, agricultural agents occupied 56.7％ medicines 27.7％ of total cases showing characteristics of this community. Regarding seasonal variation, in summer (Jun. Jul. Aug.) it is the most tendency of total cases showing characteristics of this community, too.
